应付账款周转天数

一家公司支付其供应商和卖方的平均天数。

Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) is a key efficiency metric that measures the average number of days a company takes to pay its bills, invoices, and obligations to suppliers and vendors. It is observed by comparing a company's accounts payable balances against its cost of goods sold (COGS) over a specific period, typically a fiscal quarter or year. By delaying payments to creditors, a company can effectively utilize its unpaid bills as a source of interest-free short-term financing to fund operations. Investors analyze DPO to evaluate a company's working capital management and its bargaining power within its supply chain. A high DPO generally suggests that a company has strong buyer leverage, allowing it to negotiate favorable payment terms and preserve cash for other strategic uses, such as capital expenditures, acquisitions, or share buybacks. However, an excessively high DPO can be a double-edged sword. While it boosts short-term liquidity, it may also signal that the company is struggling to meet its obligations on time, potentially damaging relationships with key suppliers or leading to less favorable pricing in the future. Conversely, a very low DPO might indicate that a company is not fully capitalizing on its credit terms or lacks the leverage to negotiate extended payment windows.
